非农好于预期，黄金探底后有所回升

8月7日晚，美国非农数据好于市场预期，但不及前值，失业率保持在10%上方，数据公布后，现货黄金出现明显下滑，但在探底后，由于数值并未让市场看到更多乐观预期，现货黄金出现了明显的反弹回升。
尽管此次数据好于预期，但6月美国疫情反弹，令多地放缓了复工脚步，一些地区甚至再次封锁，虽然复苏停滞的问题可能不会反映在7月报告中，但如果社会活动持续当前趋势，则肯定会给未来几个月的就业报告带来压力。
分析师认为，经济复苏完全取决于能否成功控制病毒的传播。美国经济复苏的第二阶段将更具挑战性，在没有新的广泛而实质性财政计划的情况下，应当为就业和支出数据走弱做好准备。
美国经济二季度经历了至少近73年以来的最大幅度萎缩。7月份，企业用尽救助贷款来支付工资，新冠疫情出现大幅反弹，这些都支持经济复苏步履蹒跚的观点。
7月裁员数量创下新冠疫情爆发以来第三高位。在此之前，本周公布的数据已经显示，尽管服务业活动有所增长，但7月民间就业岗位减少，制造业和服务业的就业进一步萎缩。
尽管如此，一些经济学家仍然认为，自6月份以来，美国劳动力市场的复苏步伐有所放缓，是由于联邦失业救济金增加的余晖以及某些州采取的停薪留岗措施所致。
美国零售客流量正在变得停滞不前，时薪员工的轮班岗位也逐渐停止增长，这进一步说明，两个月前还看起来很有希望的美国经济复苏正在迅速失去动能。
参议院共和党人被告知，谈判代表必须在周五之前达成协议。共和党参议员Roy Blunt周三对记者表示：“如果到周五还不能达成协议，那就不会有协议。我不确定人们是否认真对待这个最后期限，因为大多数人可能认为这是一种谈判策略，人们感觉政府肯定会做些什么。”
特朗普表示，他正在考虑采取单方面行动，允许纳税人推迟缴纳工资税，以刺激经济，“我绝对有权决定暂停工资税，我自己可能也会这么做。”但这一提议在两党议员中都没有得到任何支持。
