科技巨头泄气，全球经济疲惫

2月18日，金价创下近段时间的新高位，原因在于科技巨头苹果公司对营收发出预警，加上多个国家面临全球公共卫生风险，正在酝酿面对经济下行的政策，而美元则继续保持强势地位。
此前苹果公司警告称，全球公共卫生事件放缓了生产进程，并削弱了需求前景，公司恐难以实现一季度的营收预测。
苹果公司此前预计，第一季度营收630-670亿美元，这个数字高于分析师预估的624亿美元。苹果公司是全球市值数一数二的科技巨鳄，该公司不看好自身的经营前景，全球市场难免会陷入恐慌，投资者并找寻黄金避险。
欧元区各国财长周一讨论了如何出台更有利于增长的一揽子财政政策，这可能会推动德国和荷兰增加支出，因为面临全球公共卫生风险，人们对经济低迷的担忧与日俱增。
葡萄牙财长暨欧元集团主席森特诺(Mario Centeno)在新闻发布会上表示：“虽然英国脱欧和贸易紧张局势等因素给(增长)带来的风险已有所消退，但最近爆发的公共卫生风险是一个令人担忧的因素，我们需要密切关注这一事件。”
根据欧盟执委会上周公布的预测，全球公共卫生事件是欧元区经济面临的主要下行风险之一。欧盟最大经济体德国去年增长疲软，加上对公共卫生事件引发新一轮经济低迷的担忧，欧元区增加支出的预期正在上升。
即使全球公共卫生事件得以平息，但供应链中断也会影响贸易、旅游业和企业信心，并对欧元区、乃至全球经济产生负面影响。如果欧元区不能及时增加支出，民间恢复对经济前景的信心也无从谈起，只能追捧黄金等避险资产。
多年来日本央行设定一个野心勃勃的物价目标，企图消灭通缩，但日本经济复苏前景日益黯淡，政策工具选项愈来愈少，加上全球公共卫生事件，让日本央行不得不面对现实，其最多只能维持经济走势不至于进一步滑坠。
