美联储下次降息在为经济衰退时？

因此，如果情况比美联储官员预期的更糟(这是众所周知的)，那么他们将继续降息。尽管通胀仍在控制之中，但我们应该预期利率将保持在目前水平。

在联邦公开市场委员会之前公布的另一项关键指标是美联储青睐的通胀指标——PCE平减指数，该指数是作为GDP核算的一部分编制的。这表明经济没有过热的风险，因此短期内加息的风险微乎其微：与多年来的情况一样，通胀几乎没有理由加息。
利率将在一段时期内保持稳定。本次会议FOMC给出的前瞻指引相对鹰派，如若未来经济数据符合前景预期，利率政策就在一段时间内保持稳定。本轮预防式降息可能就此结束，除非未来经济恶化，联储仍会根据经济数据及时做出回应。加息与否仍需看到未来通胀大幅上升，从目前数据来看概率不大。
