贸易战打压新兴市场，黄金难以更进一步

现货黄金在上个交易日再创一周新低，1200关口可能保不住。因为美元指数大幅回升，全球贸易战紧张局势及多数新兴市场货币承压的情况下，投资者买入美元避险。美元承受贸易争端主要受益者。
美国总统特朗普上周六表示，没必要把加拿大留在北美自贸协定(NAFTA)，并警告美国国会不要干涉贸易谈判，否则他会完全终止NAFTA。
特朗普日前接受专访时，摆出一副鄙夷的态度，指出建立世贸组织是“历来最糟糕的决定”，因为全球各国皆利用当中的机制占尽美国便宜，特别是作为最大受益者的中国。
特朗普的目的是要让各国迫于无奈屈从于“美国优先”，他要建立一套自己必胜的游戏规则。美元本来就受到美联储加息的支撑，如今又得益于贸易战导致的其他不少地区金融市场出现的不确定性，增添了浓重的避险色彩。
投资者担心出口导向型经济体将受到到贸易冲突加剧的冲击。阿根廷披索、土耳其里拉、南非兰特、巴西雷亚尔、印尼卢比和印度卢比等货币在近几周下挫。市场普遍担忧随着国际贸易危局持续升温，新兴市场动荡的情绪会进一步恶化。
由于对土地征用的担忧导致南非陷入困境，当地经济受到消费者支出崩溃的压力，再加上第一季度GDP增速大幅下降，南非出乎意料地陷入了自2009年以来的首次衰退。
南非新任总统西里尔·拉马福萨在9年前遭遇了与他的前任相同的困局，在上任六个月后南非的经济出现衰退。这种下降很大程度上是由于农业的崩溃所造成的，白人农民不知道他们是否会被允许保留土地或被强行征用。
土耳其央行周一示意，将针对物价稳定所面临的“重大风险”采取行动。央行发出这样的信号颇为罕见，其目的在于平息金融市场忧虑，之前该国通胀率飙升至将近15年高点。
但土耳其里拉兑美元今年贬值幅度已达40%，推高了从马铃薯到汽油等各种商品的价格，令人担忧对整体经济的影响。市场预计，土耳其通胀将在未来几个月内呈现上升趋势，料在今年年底从当前的18%升至21％附近。
如果新兴市场普遍的混乱情况造成全球经济前景被调降，那么这会不利于这些以出口资源为主的国家及其货币，然而这却能成为支撑美元走强的因素。
