美联储纪要挑动地缘政治神经
5月23日，现货黄金价格围绕在平盘附近震荡，延续逾一周低位整理行情。美元指数依然持坚，市场等待美联储公布上次政策会议记录。投资者还将关注国际局势，之前美国总统特朗普暗示，原定于6月举行的“特金会”可能会被推迟。
香港的一位交易员说道：“市场早盘相当稳定，但因美元保持坚挺，金市在失去动能。我们想知道美联储会议记录会带来怎样的讯息，我认为投资者正在关注一切不寻常的、能够提振市场的事情。”
分析师称，市场注意力将转向美联储会议记录，寻找有关通胀的新看法，任何有关美联储认为通胀将升逾2%目标的暗示，都将被视作利好金价，因黄金可作为通胀对冲工具获得支撑。
大田环球贵金属分析师认为，虽然金价跌破了1300美元，但预计进一步下跌空间有限，且金价将很快回升至1300美元之上。
由于美联储今年大概率加息三次，因此在其货币政策路径基本被市场消化的背景下，美元很难进一步上涨。一旦美指从当前94附近的高位回落，则金价将受益，并回升至1300美元之上。
美国总统特朗普周二(5月22日)在与韩国总统文在寅举行的椭圆形办公室会议上说：“美朝峰会不会发生的可能性‘非常大’。”
除朝鲜局势外，伊朗局势也出现新进展。据外媒报道，美国财政部公布了对伊朗的最新制裁，五名与伊朗伊斯兰革命卫队有关的伊朗人在新的制裁名单上。美国财长努钦表示，将加强对伊朗的一级和二级制裁。
