贸易战升级避险增加，金价狂飙
在继美国公布301调查征税产品建议清单后，中国商务部4月4日表示将对原产于美国106项商品加征25%关税，涉及金额约500亿美元。受此影响，避险情绪再度升温，商品股市汇市集体暴动。美元指数盘中跌幅扩大至30点至89.91，现货黄金上涨逾10美元，布油跌幅扩大到1.40%；欧元兑美元拉升50余点，美元兑日元跳水近70点，而道指期货则飞流直下450点。
中国商务部发布关于对原产于美国的部分进口商品加征关税的公告。将对原产于美国的大豆、玉米、高粱、小麦、棉花、牛肉、烟草等农产品、汽车、化工品、飞机等进口商品对等采取加征关税措施，税率为25%，涉及2017年中国自美国进口金额约500亿美元。对美方部分商品加征关税是捍卫自身合法权益、维护多边贸易体制的正义行为，是符合国际法基本原则的正当举措。实施时间另行公告。
财政部副部长朱光耀称，中国拟对美部分商品加征关税符合国际法基本原则。中国的立场很明确不希望有贸易战，希望中美贸易关系回归健康路径，贸易战对中美双方都有害。中国反制行动的目录和相关顺序是有依据的。中国是按照市场规律来进行外汇储备运作，中国从来没有对外部压力屈服，中国希望通过建设性方式解决问题和挑战。
中国外交部发言人耿爽日内就美发布拟加关税清单表示，贸易战没有赢家，发起贸易战的国家最终将损人害己。我们注意到，美国工商界、普通消费者、媒体、智库都对美方作法和由此可能产生的严重后果表达担忧。美国拥有世界领先的科技力量和制造能力，应该对自己更有信心，堂堂正正地与各国开展竞争，而没有必要采取单边主义、保护主义的措施，对其他国家的努力进行打压和干扰。
