此前,市场已广泛预计美联储将于周三宣布年内首次加息,因此将目光转向美联储“点阵图”,以观察美联储委员是否倾向于年内加息四次。但点阵图显示,2018年利率中值落在2.1%,意味着今年很可能将维持去年12月会议上加息三次的预期。
不过,点阵图也不乏亮点。其中显示,美联储预计将于2019-2020年更加陡峭加息,其中2019年将加息三次,较此前预计上升一次。而2020年将加息两次,较此前预计上升一次。
此外,美联储货币政策声明中显示,美联储对经济前景持乐观态度,称经济正以温和速度增长。美联储在经济预期中,也将2018年GDP增速上调至2.7%,前值为2.5%。
尽管如此,通胀前景仍存在一些不确定性,或许是美联储委员不急于加息的原因之一。虽然,美联储在政策声明中表示,未来几个月通胀将会上升,将持稳于2%。但据美联储主席鲍威尔出席新闻发布会时表示,数据未表明通胀会加速上升。
