税改能提升美国薪资速度？
沃尔玛将最低薪资上调至11美元/小时，超过125家公司给雇员发放高达1000美元的奖金。分析师认为，在休闲和接待行业（包括酒店和餐饮等）之外，税改对短期薪资增长的影响是微不足道的，而由于低失业、生产率上升及巨额利润的‘逐渐渗透’，中长期薪资增长有望强劲。
分析师关注了最低工资上涨及美国税改对薪资增长的影响。他总结道，“在休闲和接待行业（包括酒店和餐饮等）之外，税改对短期薪资增长的影响是微不足道的，而由于低失业、生产率上升及巨额利润的‘逐渐渗透（pass-through）’，中长期薪资增长有望强劲。”
分析师表示，税改将使失业率进一步下降0.25个基点，从而促进薪资增长近0.1个百分点。“我们预计，有效最低薪资上涨将促进休闲和接待行业的平均时薪上涨0.1-0.2个基点，但对整个经济的平均时薪影响甚微，约为0.05个基点。”
媒体报道称，近125家公司已宣布，打算利用税改带来的减税增加雇员的奖金或投资。这些公司多数宣布额外的年终奖，而一些已宣布基础工资上调。这些奖金的范围和数额表明，这接近10亿美元的一次性奖励仅占这些雇员季度合计薪酬的不到0.05%。
一些经济学家暗示，目前失业率仅为4.1%，像沃尔玛这样的公司早已面临薪资上涨的压力。
经济学家认为，“现在很难说税改会有长期影响还是只是做秀。我们对当今经济中的企业减税会提高薪资的任何理论或历史依据持怀疑态度。”
尽管一次性的1000美元奖金对特朗普和共和党来说，或许是一次公关上的胜利，经济学家认为，税改法案必须“将薪资增长总体上调至其目前2.5%的年增速以上”，同时提高工人的生产率，才能够真正让经济受益。
而分析师认为，在未来几个季度，税改对薪资更大的影响可能通过更紧俏的劳动力市场产生，未来几年则通过资本积累、上升的劳动生产率、以及巨额利润的逐渐渗透。
“总体来说，我们预计税改对平均时薪以及就业成本指数（ECI）的短期影响非常有限。”
