IMF维持今明两年全球经济增速预估不变 但上调美国经济预估
国际货币基金组织(IMF)周一(1月16日)发布了最新《全球经济展望报告》，维持全球2017及2018年经济增速预估分别在3.4%及3.6%不变，与去年10月预测相同。2016年全球经济增速估计为3.1%，为2008-2009年金融危机来最低。
不过，因预期美国侯任总统特朗普(Donald Trump )将推出减税及支出计划，IMF在报告上调了美国2017及2018年经济增速预估。但该机构表示，几个重要新兴市场国家的增速减弱，将大致抵销美国经济的提振效应。
随着特朗普拟定减税及基建等财政刺激措施，IMF上调美国2017年GDP增幅预估0.1个百分点至2.3%，2018年预估上调0.4个百分点至2.5%。该机构并称，由于美国经济已接近充分就业，这也可能推升通胀。
另外，IMF还表示，目前对于美联储(FED)加息速度的预期高于IMF工作人员去年10月的预测。但报告没有透露IMF预计的今年加息次数
IMF首席经济学家Maurice Obstfeld周一的书面讲话中表示，美国经济政策的高度不确定性意味着比平常更宽泛的上行和下行风险因素。
他指出，“如果财政刺激推动的需求增长，碰上产能更加吃紧，将有必要进行更快的升息以抑制通胀，美元将因此大幅升值，实质经济增长率将下降，预算压力将加大，美国经常帐赤字将扩大。”他并补充表示，这样的情况有可能招致更多保护主义措施和报复性质的回应。
不过，IMF最新的展望报告并未将特朗普提议的贸易政策纳入前提假设。后者此前曾提议对墨西哥和中国商品征收关税，重新谈判美国-加拿大-墨西哥北美自贸协定等贸易保护政策。
IMF表示，对美国的预测只是多种可能情景中最有可能出现的情景；更详细的假设应该可以在4月份更新《世界经济展望报告》时提出。最新的预测也考虑到了OPEC协议减产之后油价的回升。
世界银行(World Bank)上周二(1月10日)也在《全球经济展望报告》预计，2017年全球增长率将加快至2.9%，也较去年6月时的预测下调了0.1个百分点。
同时，世行还预计，2017年美国经济将增长2.2%，且增幅可能会比预期大很多，并影响美国以外地区。2016年美国经济增长为1.6%。不过，这可能导致利率攀升和金融市况收紧，这对部分严重依赖外部融资的新兴市场国家有负面影响。
但世行也指出，美国经济政策持续的不确定性，可能令投资资金在政策更清晰前保持观望，从而拖累全球增长。
