周五(12月9日)公布的一份报告显示，密歇根大学12月美国消费者信心指数初值升至2015年1月以来最高。
具体数据显示，密歇根大学12月美国消费者信心指数初值为98，预估为94.5，11月终值为93.8。
密歇根大学12月美国消费者现况指数初值为112.1，为2005年7月以来最高，预估为108.5，11月终值为107.3。
密歇根大学12月美国消费者预期指数初值升至2015年1月以来最高的88.9，预估为87.0，11月终值为85.2。
密歇根大学12月美国消费者一年通胀预期初值为2.3%，11月终值为2.4%。
密歇根大学12月美国消费者五年通胀预期初值为2.5%，11月终值为2.6%。
密歇根大学消费调查主管Curtin称，12月消费者信心指数上升至仅比2015年达到的最高水平低10%的高位，这很大程度上得益于消费者对特朗普当选总统之后的反应；认为新的经济政策将带来积极影响的消费者人数创历史新高；乐观情绪上升带来的最重要的影响是其提高了经济表现预期；消费者将更加关注收入而非利率。
