英国央行副行长：英银降息必定会对市场有所影响
周五（8月5日），英国央行（BOE）决策者布罗德本特（Broadbent）接受英国广播公司采访时称，对英国央行8月4日将基准利率降低25个基点至0.25％的历史低点的举措发表了自己的见解。
对于英银降息是否会有所影响的调查不只是针对于英国经济复苏前景的信心，而是实际的经济活动和工作。英国央行决策委员会并没有着重考虑当前举措是否会损害英国民众对英国经济前景的信心。
英国央行利率决议后，英镑兑美元短线下跌，累计跌幅超过100点，最低触及1.3169，创下三个交易日以来的低位，当前已相对持稳。而如此跌幅与此前“脱欧”结果公布后超过10%的跌幅相比，已经完全不值得一提。
为防止“脱欧”后英国经济陷入衰退，英国央行7年来首次放大招，但周四的市场走势显示，投资者对此早有预期，市场交投并未出现恐慌局面。
就此，布罗德本特表示，英国经济还未能实现可以依靠自身的灵活性来防止经济放缓，甚至衰退。不过他承认，与英国“脱欧”后相比，最近英镑波动已表现稍显稳定。
布罗德本特同时表示，英国央行的宽松举措对于商业信心、消费者信心以及对经济复苏的信心来说，可能并不是坏事。他强调，大量的数据和证据可为昨天英国央行的降息举措提供支持。
布罗德本特坚信，英国央行的降息举措必然会对市场和英国经济产生些许影响。他认为，英国央行的降息举措，能够有效对英国“脱欧”的影响，并防止经济衰退，这要比政府采取财政刺激措施来得更加及时和迅速。
