英国独立党领袖意外辞任
英国右翼党派独立党领袖法拉奇周一(7月4日)表示，他已实现了英国公投脱欧的目标，将会功成身退，从而在英国政坛再掀波澜。法拉奇是最为直言不讳和实干的反欧盟派人物之一。他意外抽身离开，令其在如何切割英国与其他欧盟27国之间关系的争论中得以置身事外。
然而，此举或许也可让英国独立党有机会挑选出一名立场不那么偏激的领袖，在风云变幻的政治环境中成为主流力量。
今年6月23日的英退公投导致两大主要政党内部均陷入混乱。执政的保守党希望换掉首相卡梅伦，而主要反对党–工党的议员则投票撤销对党魁柯尔宾的信任。
法拉奇称，“我从未当过、也从不想成为一名职业政客。我从政的目标就是让英国脱离欧盟。”目前法拉奇仍是英国独立党在欧洲议会的议员。
由于英国工党党魁柯尔宾目前为止拒绝辞职，并发表视频呼吁团结一致，工党议员Angela Eagle称她拥有必要的支持能够对领导层发起挑战，并化解当前这个让工党受损的“僵局”。
英国工党副党魁Tom Watson进行最后一搏，计划本周二(7月5日)与工会代表及工党的资助者召开紧急会议，试图就柯尔宾的未来达成协议。
英国正在进行二战后大英帝国解体以来最大的一次宪法改革，主要政党内部爆发激烈的领导权之争带来了更多不确定性。
英国退欧对贸易和投资造成的不确定性、以及对欧盟其他成员国考虑步英国后尘的担忧已重挫全球市场。
英国财政大臣奥斯本已放弃在四年内实现预算平衡的目标，上周日(7月3日)更提出将企业税率从20%迅速下调至不到15%的想法，以彰显英国仍“对企业开放”。工党指责他试图将英国变为一个离岸避税天堂。
奥斯本告诉国会，他周二将与各大银行讨论退欧后发展方向。
尽管有52%民众投票支持英国脱欧，但英国迄今尚未启动里斯本条约第50条，开始正式退出进程。虽然所有首相候选人都表示不会走回头路，但一些反对英国退欧的政界人士表示，这还不是定局。
