印度黄金需求继续放缓
据一位熟悉印度财政部数据的人士披露，由于需求放缓，印度黄金进口连续第四个月下跌，因今年黄金上涨了近16%买家停手。
5月的黄金进口比一年前下跌了51%至31公吨，但这些数据是不公开的。印度在4月份进口了22吨黄金，财政部发言人拒绝评论。
由于抗议政府多征收黄金饰品1%的销售税，3月和4月珠宝业罢工导致库存上涨。
孟买珠宝协会成员Kumar Jain表示“黄金价格上涨，需求就比较艰难了。6-7月需求稀少因消费者忙于农业和学校活动。”料8月需求应有所回升。
在印度，黄金在节日和婚庆时购买较多。该国主要的节庆从8月开始，包括10月或11月的排灯节等。据世界黄金协会数据，2015年，印度进口并消费掉的黄金是848.90吨。
