中国黄金储备增幅创至少7月以来最低
据中国央行网站的数据，2月份黄金储备增长0.6%，从1月份的5718万盎司升至5750万盎司。中国央行的黄金储备增幅，创出该国去年开始披露该数据月度增幅以来的最低水平。
全球金价2月份飙升11%，创四年来最大月度涨幅，金融动荡导致投资者纷纷寻求避险。由于春节放假，中国市场2月8-12日休市。
中国央行自去年7月以来每月公布黄金储备，旨在提高透明度。自中国央行公布截至去年6月末黄金储备较2009年增长57%以来，其黄金资产已增长了7.8%。
按吨数计，中国是全球第五大黄金储备国，并且正在买进黄金，使外汇储备多样化。中国央行副行长易纲在周末表示，中国央行持有的外汇储备资产除美元以外还包括欧元、日元、英镑和发展中国家资产。
中国加入了俄罗斯和哈斯克斯坦增加黄金储备的行列。即便在2月份外汇储备从1月份的3.23万亿美元降至3.20万亿美元的情况下，中国依然增加了黄金储备。
