周五（1月29日）亚市盘初，美元指数位于98.60附近水平徘徊，美元/日元位于118.80附近水平徘徊，欧元/美元位于1.0940附近水平徘徊，英镑/美元位于1.4355附近水平徘徊，美元/加元位于1.4040附近水平徘徊。
上一交易日美元普跌，因美国耐久财订单大跌支持了美国经济因全球需求疲弱而放缓的观点，这可能使美联储（Fed）的升息步伐较此前预估更为缓慢。
美国12月耐久财订单录得2014年8月以来最大跌幅，远弱于预期，该数据提高了将于周五公布的美国国内生产总值(GDP)低于预期的可能性。
近期美国GDP数据疲软，加之2016年至今全球股市大幅波动，将大大减少美联储像12月预估的那样2016年升息4次的可能性。
上一交易日原油期货价格反弹，升至3周高位，推高澳元和加元等石油相关货币。油价的反弹，以及美联储可能放缓未来升息步伐的预期，令投资者选择高收益率货币。
在风险交易中，投资者倾向于澳元、加元和纽元等高收益货币，但它们基本与商品价格关联，因此容易和商品价格一起大幅下跌。
