本周一(1月11日)是美国铸币局开始出售今年金币和银币的第一天，数据显示，当天其金币和银币的销量都非常强劲。
美国铸币局的数据称，周一总共销售出8.1万盎司的金币以及275.65万盎司美国鹰银币。
此前美国铸币局声明称，美国鹰银币当天的配额为400万盎司。
据悉，出售的金币中，2.1万盎司为水牛金币，其它则为美国鹰金币。
