新西兰商会周四(11月12日)公布的数据显示，新西兰10月制造业活动继续扩张，尽管扩张幅度较前一个月缩小。
具体数据显示，新西兰10月制造业PMI降至55.3，前值为55.0。不过，由于数值仍在50以上，因此暗示该领域仍处于扩张状态。此外，新西兰制造业持续着自2012年10月以来的扩张态势。
新西兰10月制造业产出进一步攀升，但增长幅度放缓至五个月低点。类似地，新订单指数的增幅也出现放缓。
“此外，对新西兰10月制造业表现的积极评论的比例较9月的58.7%有所提高(61.8%)，许多都与海外订单和新客户的增多有关，”新西兰商会制造业执行长Catherine Beard说道。
