希腊议会本周五(11月6日)早些时候批准了一项议案，其中包括其国际债权人提出的改革措施，三天后的欧元区财长会议将决定希腊能否获得新的救助资金。
希腊需要批准一系列改革立法才能通过新救助案的首次评估，此次救助协议是今年稍早签署的，价值最多为860亿欧元。希腊还必须在年底之前革新其银行体系，以启动希腊亟需的债务减免谈判；总理齐普拉斯已将此事列为第一要务。
希腊议会总共300个议席，多数议员投票支持了一项议案，该议案在养老金计算方面对此前立法做出了改进，迫使希腊遵守欧盟能源效率规则，并为出售希腊最大港口和取消农民税收宽免扫除了障碍。
这项议案的通过十分关键，但此次希腊救助评估仍面临若干问题。通过此次评估后可释放20亿欧元救助金，这是最初260亿欧元拨款中的一部分。欧元区财长会议将于下周一(11月9日)召开，届时将对希腊迄今遵守协议的情况进行评估。
