美国商务部周四（10月29日）公布的数据显示，美国三季度实际GDP年化季率略低于预期，较前值大幅下滑，受企业削减库存以缓解此前的库存过剩状况所拖累。
具体数据显示，美国三季度实际GDP年化季率初值为1.5%，低于预期值1.6%，也低于前值3.9%。另外，美国第三季度GDP平减指数初值为1.2%，低于预期值1.5%，也低于前值2.1%。
在第三季度，企业库存仅新增568亿美元，创2014年第一季度以来最低水平，并远低于第二季度的1135亿美元。该数据下挫拖累美国第三季度GDP减少1.44个百分点，为2012年第四季度以来最大拖累。
然而，库存数据的走低对GDP的拖累可能只是暂时的，经济学家预计在今年第四季度经济增速或将回升，鉴于美国国内需求强劲。
同时公布的美国第三季度实际个人消费支出季率初值为3.2%，低于预期值3.3%，也低于前值3.6%；美国第三季度核心PCE物价指数年化季率初值为1.3%，低于预期值1.4%，也低于前值1.9%。
