中国股市周三又出现“熟悉的一幕”。沪指午后一度重挫4.7%，失守3300点，收盘跌幅缩小为3.1%，创下近一个多月来最大下跌。市场分析人士指出，大盘在3500点附近面临阻力，而经过前波相当程度的上涨后，目前的回调亦属正常。
上证综指下跌3.06%，收报3320.68点，创下自2015年9月15日以来的最大单日跌幅。同时，今日成交5174亿元人民币，创两个月新高，此前最大单日成交为2015年8月19日5995亿元，上个交易日为3829亿元。
创业板指数狂泻6.63%，报2344.74点；沪深300指数跌2.92%，报3473.25点；沪深300指数期货主力11月合约尾盘报3356.8点，跌2.17%，成交15667手。
本交易日除了加拿大央行利率决议算是重磅事件以外，市场经济数据和风险时间并不密集。不过，中国股市未能延续昨日积极涨势，股市大跌再度成为市场焦点。
中国股市日内的暴跌并未传导至欧美市场，欧洲股市周三小幅收涨。泛欧绩优300指数收平，英国FTSE 100指数收平，法国CAC 40指数收涨0.4%，德国DAX 30指数收涨0.8%。
美国股市开盘上涨。道指周三开盘上涨0.23%，报17256.33点；纳指周三开盘上涨0.48%，报4904.58点；标普500周三开盘上涨0.31%，报2037.07点。
尽管美国数据清淡，但全球股市上扬，打压黄金避险需求，导致金价转跌。
