印度干旱黄金需求疲软

印度是全球最大的黄金消费国之一，但近期，印度国内的黄金需求却表现得比较疲软，甚至出现了金价贴水的状况。
印度三分之二黄金消费来自农村地区，而今年印度的农村地区连续第二年经历着干旱，农民们收成受到影响，收入减少，也就减少了黄金的购买。
黄金零售商Muthoot Pappachan贵金属主管Keyur Shah表示，印度政府将要推出的黄金债券会影响黄金的消费量。
本周印度政府批准了黄金债券和黄金储蓄在内的黄金货币化项目，希望以此减少黄金进口，控制住经常账户赤字。
Padmanabhan认为，今年印度的黄金进口量可能远低于去年的891.5吨。不过近期低迷的金价可能在10至11月的印度节日和婚礼季中使得黄金更有吸引力。
Padmanabhan还称，其在Tamil Nadu地区的三家金店销量将较去年减少15%至20%。
一些农民表示，由于今年降雨大大少于平均水平，因此不会想要买入黄金。有农民表示，宁可买入土地而不少波动的黄金。
