英国统计局周二公布的数据显示，英国第二季国内生产总值(GDP)初值增幅符合市场预期，这也确认英国经济延续了去年以来的稳步复苏势头。
英国统计局的数据显示，英国二季度GDP初值较前季增长0.7%，符合市场预期，前值增长0.4%；同时，英国第二季度GDP初值较上年同期增长2.6%，亦符合市场预期，前值增长2.9%。
此外，英国第二季度服务业产出较前季增长0.7%；英国第二季度工业生产较前季增加1.0%，创2010年第四季以来最快增速；英国第二季度建筑业产出持平。
统计局还表示，英国目前人均GDP与2008年第一季时的危机前水准“大致相当”。
数据公布之后，英镑/美元短线拉升逾50点，汇价自1.5530附近飙升至1.5587，刷新日内高位，延续本周以来的回升势头。
