随着周初黄金遭到来自中国市场的猛烈抛售，眼下金价已经到达2010年来的最低水平。然而，低价并没有像过去那样吸引“中国大妈”的青睐，更严重的是，现在连“印度大妈”都不再买黄金了！
不管是因为降雨情况不理想也好，还是婚礼太少也罢，总之在本周金价重挫之后，向来青睐黄金投资的印度人并没有纷纷抢购黄金。
印度与中国是全球两大黄金购买国。周一(7月21日)上海黄金交易所出现大量卖盘，打压金价下滑4%至五年低点，交易员寄望印度或者亚洲其它地方的需求能够挺身而出。
上次金价大跌的时候，2013年4月短短两个交易日内就急坠13%，吸引印度民众在金店外面排起长队抢购，并持续了数周。
然而，昔日盛景这次没有重现。印度占全球黄金需求的五分之一以上，目前对于黄金仍然兴趣寥寥，印度当地金价较全球现货指标金价只有小幅升水。
另外，中国黄金进口量在2013年创下纪录水准后，对黄金的需求也减弱。股市快速上涨，经济放缓和中国政府反腐举措，均促使资金离开金市。另外，中国央行(PBOC)上周五(7月18日)公布，黄金储备较2009年增加57%，但远低于市场预估。
