据报道，印度正计划发行和金价联系在一起的主权债券，希望以此来控制该国的黄金需求，限制黄金进口以控制经常账户赤字。
据印度政府周四公布的草案称，印度央行(RBI)将会代表印度政府发布债券，最低利率将为2%。

印度政府计划在第一年发行价值1350亿卢布(约21.2亿美元)的债券，或者和50吨黄金等值的债券。
