日本1-3月经济扩张快于最初预期，这是受益于资本支出增长稳健，并且强调了央行的看法，即日本经济从去年衰退中复苏正获得动能。
日本内阁府周一（6月8日）公布的数据显示，日本第一季度实际GDP环比年率修正后为增长3.9%，优于初值的2.4%。外媒调查中，受访分析师预估中值显示，第一季度经物价调整后，该国经济增长环比年率料为2.7%。

日本第一季度实际GDP修正后为较前季增加1.0%，初值为增长0.6%，市场预估中值为增长0.7%。同时，名义GDP修正后为较前季增加2.3%，初值为增长1.9%，市场预估中值为增长1.9%。
在该数据公布后，日本内阁官员表示，根据可比数据，日本第一季度 名义GDP按季增速，创1994年以来最快。
此外，另一份由日本财务省公布的数据显示，4月经常帐连续第十个月录得盈余，因疲弱日元提高了海外投资收入。
数据显示，4月经常帐盈余为1.3万亿日元(105.5亿美元)，外媒调查分析师的预估中值为盈余1.7万亿日元。
