伯南克:美联储加息是积极信号

前美联储主席伯南克周三(5月27日)表示,中国经济增速放缓不会吓坏市场,因没有硬着陆风险。他还强调,美国加息应被视为全球最大经济体释放出的积极信号,这说明经济足够强劲。
伯南克目前供职于布鲁金斯学会,也是债券巨头太平洋投资管理公司(Pimco)和对冲基金Citadel的顾问。
伯南克周三在首尔(Seoul)参与一个私人论坛接受公开采访时表示,预计美国将渐进地加息,对韩国仅有较小的影响,“加息可能引发一些波动。像韩国这样的国家有非常好的条件,有很好的政策和智囊机构,并非疲软或者不发达的,不知道如何处理资本流动的国家。”
伯南克表示,市场预期美联储在年底前加息,这是一件值得庆贺的事情,“我不知道美联储何时加息,但一旦开始,是好消息,不是坏消息,因为这意味着美国经济足够强劲。”伯南克还表示,中国需要改变经济增长方式以维持长期持续增长,经济增长放缓是必需的,“中国经济增速曾达到10.0%,主要受大量投资和出口推动。随着国家变得更为富有,经济更为复杂,这种增长方式不再奏效。”伯南克补充道,他对中国经济前景乐观,不会出现硬着陆。
伯南克表示,日本政府支撑经济增长的“三支箭”取得进展,东京扩张的货币政策是有必要的,“日本发生的事情让我受到鼓舞。但他们要克服人口增长缓慢和根本性难题。日本经济不会以上世纪70年代的速度增长,但会好于过去20年。”
伯南克评论中国主导的亚投行(Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank)说,这将为世界各地更有用的项目提供机会。首先,我们关心世界性组织做好工作。我们有了世界银行(World Bank),现在又有了亚投行。多多益善。”
