中国央行三个月内第二次降息，与上次一样降息25个基点。周日，中国央行宣布， 自本月11日起，金融机构人民币一年期贷款基准利率下调0.25个百分点至5.1%；一年期存款基准利率下调0.25个百分点至2.25%；将金融机构存 款利率浮动区间的上限由存款基准利率的1.3倍调整为1.5倍，其他各档次贷款及存款基准利率、个人住房公积金存贷款利率相应调整。民生宏观今日评论预计，降息之后还有降息。其认为，目前中国外有实际有效汇率偏高制约出口，内有经济下行和地方债务置换，降息可缓解汇率压力，流动性供需缺口已通过降准缓释，通过价格手段降低融资成本可行。
尽管中国央行宣布半年来的第三次降息，但现货金价并未走高。
国际现货金价目前交投于50小时均线1185.45美元/盎司附近，此前中国央行在周日将一年期贷款基准利率下调0.25个百分点至5.1%，然而此举却并未能提振金价走高；与此同时，其他类似的风险资产也并未走强。此外，美元指数上涨可能会持续施压于黄金；日内来看，在欧元区和美国方面财经日历清淡的情况下，黄金可能会继续追踪广泛的市场情绪。
