沙特国王病逝享年90岁，80岁弟弟继成王位

沙特阿拉伯王国王室当地时间周五(1月23日)凌晨宣布，国王阿卜杜拉·本·阿卜杜拉齐兹·阿尔·沙特已因病于稍早去世，享年90岁。其同父异母弟萨尔曼王储已经继任为新国王。阿卜杜拉因患肺炎于2014年12月31日入院接受治疗，此后一直病情危重。
沙特王室宣布，阿卜杜拉国王于当地时间周五凌晨1点(北京时间6点)去世。阿卜杜拉国王生于1925年，为该国开国国王阿齐兹·伊本·沙特的45个儿子之一，并在2005年其兄长前国王法赫德去世后继承王位。沙特不成文的惯例要求王位通过“兄终弟及”的方式进行继承。在伊本·沙特于1953年去世后，王位一直在他的儿子之间传递。
阿卜杜拉在任内先后任命的两位王储苏尔坦亲王和纳伊夫亲友都分别在他之前于2011年和2012年去世，新国王萨尔曼出生于1935年，今年也已经80岁高龄。目前，沙特家族最小的弟弟，现年69岁的穆克林亲王被任命为王位第一顺位继承人。
