沙特掀起价格战 国际油价再遭重挫

受利好美国制造业数据和疲弱的欧元区数据影响，美元3日对其他主要货币汇率上涨。美元走强降低了以美元计价的石油的投资吸引力，对油价形成压力。此外更为重要的原因是，当天有报道称，主要产油国沙特阿拉伯调低向美国出口原油的官方售价，该消息也令油价承压。
分析人士指出，沙特对美国出口降价主要是为了维持其市场份额的综合策略。沙特同时还上调了出口至亚洲等其他市场的原油价格。而在此前的四个月中，沙特连续下调了对这些市场的出口价格。
市场人士此前预计，沙特或选择下调对每个主要地区的出口油价，这表明意在争取买家，否则可能会全线涨价。对于石油出口国来说，近几个月里亚洲一直是竞争尤为激烈的市场，所以此次沙特反而更重视维持在美市场份额的做法令交易员颇感意外，部分交易员将此解读为希望打压美国页岩油生产，而不是受供需关系驱动的举措。
但对此观点质疑的业内人士则强调，部分美国炼油商可以通过购买更多沙特原油从而提高利润率，所受冲击可能会低于预期，此举也只能说明沙特希望更多抢占美国市场。
