在危机之中，美元资产的避风港地位也再次凸显，各路资金开始抢购美债，导致美债价格上涨，收益率下跌。
北京时间8月24日上午10：15，美国10年期国债收益率盘中跌破2%，为4月份来首次。截至同日上午11：38，十年期美债收益率报1.998，较前下挫2.53%。
上周一，美国财政部发布的国际资本流动报告显示，中国6月增持9亿美元美国国债，是连续第4个月增持。截至今年6月，中国持有的美债总额为1.2712万亿美元。
去年9月至今年2月，中国连续减持美债，减持规模总计达460亿美元。2月日本一度超越中国成为美国“最大债主”，为金融危机以来首次。但随着中国3月大幅增持373亿美元美债，再次超过日本回到美国“最大债主”位置，4月和5月中国继续增持美债，规模分别为24亿美元和69亿美元。
