1、科技股票再次崩溃连累整个市场
据行内人士表示，受科技类股票的拉动，美国股市在今年持续上涨。但是科技类板块的上涨只是受到一些股票的拉动。跟踪纳斯达克100大非金融公司表现的纳斯达克100指数超过一半的收益仅仅来自两支股票——亚马逊和谷歌。
另一个需要警惕的原因是：标准普尔500目前比其中公司去年的全年利润之和高出18倍，而长期平均水平为15.7倍。O’Rourke表示，当股市水平超过公司利润三倍时这就暗示我们处在泡沫或衰退之中。投资者需要为更加困难的局面做好准备。
2、中国经济开始走下坡路和希腊援助失败
自6月中，中国股市已经下跌近31%，为8年多以来的最差表现。如果中国股市的麻烦继续存在，对于中国政府控制其债务驱动型经济能力的疑问将不断上升。
与此同时，投资者对于巴西经济疲软以及希腊第三轮援助无法像前两轮那么成功的担心正在不断上升。
3、美联储加息日程
市场对于央行推动经济增长的作用充满信心。在美国，市场预计美联储将于近期开始加息。但是很少有人预测美国经济将陷入衰退。
但是近期大宗商品的暴跌可能暗示全球经济增长的放缓。如果美国经济出现下滑或是美联储加息的速度快于经济学家的预测，公司债券可能会受到影响。
国际现货黄金价格自2011年近1900美元/盎司的最高值已经下跌了近40%。但是如果市场对于美联储和其他国家央行支撑市场能力丧失信心，那么黄金价格将会开始反弹。对冲基金经理Bob Wiedemer表示，当人们对于主要货币的价值的怀疑不断上升时，黄金的吸引力将会大增。
4、交易型基金债券爆发
近期，包括激进投资者卡尔伊坎在内警告，全球债券交易型基金的快速发展存在潜在危机。
比尔-格罗斯最近表示，共同基金，交易型基金以及指数基金在危机中是非常脆弱的。最明显的风险就是所有的投资者无法在同一时间脱身。
