东京汇市周五(7月24日)，国际金价下跌近1%，盘中一度跌至每盎司1077美元，这是本周以来亚洲时段出现的第二次短线急跌。
本周一，国际金价在亚洲时段曾遭遇大幅崩跌，一度大跌逾50美元。在金价崩跌之后，市场对于背后的诱因也有多种说法，包括美联储加息预期、中国黄金储备增持不及预期和上海交易所市场中出现误抛5吨等。
许多分析师预期，美国经济将站稳脚跟，促使美联储在九年来首次提高利率，这可能是该贵金属近来下跌的最大因素。
美联储可能在下周三结束为期两天的政策会议后就美国利率前景给出新的指引。
美联储已暗示最早可能在9月份加息，但投资者则认为最有可能的加息时点是12月份的会议。
直至本周四金价中止连10个交易日下跌的走势，因美元走弱且低价格吸引买家重返市场。
美元在周度劳动市场数据出炉后收复部分失土。据劳工部公布，截至7月18日的一周美国首次申请失业救济人数减少2.6万人，至经季节性调整后的25.5万人，为1973年11月24日以来最低周度水平。经济学家之前预估为27.8万人。
金价本月截至周四累计下跌6.6%，今年以来累计下跌7.4%。
金价下一步走势难料。之前因押注金价将下跌而卖出空单的投资者，如今在金价连10日下跌后以买家身份返场了结获利。
