据路透社报道，美元周三下滑，此前美联储暗示升息可能要比许多投资人原本预期的更晚开始，且联储还下调了美国经济成长预估。
美元兑瑞郎和英镑大跌超过1%，而欧元兑美元攀升，尾盘涨0.75%。
美联储在结束为期两日货币政策会议后指出，自冬季大幅放缓后，美国经济适度增长，且增长势头可能足够强劲，能支持联储在年底前升息。但联储将美国经济今年增幅预估被下调至1.8%-2.0%。
分析师对是否联储约10年来首次升息会在9月，还是12月意见分歧。
“美联储声明立场没有会议前预期的强硬，”花旗G10汇市策略部门全球主管Steven Englander表示，“他们对开始升息的决心没有市场原本指望的那么强。”
Englander表示，美联储声明发布后，美国公债收益率由升转跌，显示投资人感到失望。
“美元走软，因声明立场大致温和，”Chapdelaine Foreign Exchange董事总经理Douglas Borthwick表示，“总的来说，耶伦和美联储在等待通胀抬头，他们认为还不到时候。”
