有消息人士称，4月印度进口黄金量在85至90吨之间。此前在3月，印度进口了121.8吨黄金。去年4月印度进口了58吨黄金，主要受黄金进口关税高企的不利影响。
4月21日印度的佛陀满月节之后，印度的黄金需求有所减弱，并且降雨影响了农村地区的黄金需求，因此4月的黄金进口出现了显著的下滑。
进入5月后，随着节日结束，婚礼季也将结束，5月的需求或许将更为平淡。
