据路透社报道，美元周二兑日圆从三周高位回落，兑欧元从一周高位下滑，因美国经济数据有好有坏，令未来升息的步幅更加不确定。
优于预期的美国4月服务业报告被贸易逆差大于预期所抵消。服务业报告公布后，美元一度上涨，但之后回落。
周二公布的另一份行业报告显示，美国服务业4月扩张速度由七个月高点放缓，因新业务增速小跌，但聘雇速度升至6月以来最快。
过去几日，美元开始重拾升势，因迹象显示在今年稍早滑入低谷后美国经济开始反弹。
“5月通常美元会走强，但周五的非农就业报告将最终决定美元走向，”DailyFX.com汇市分析师Christopher Vecchio表示。
“期货市场仍为美元净多头，以及今年首季美国经济数据令人失望，使得美元处于非常脆弱的境地，特别是如果4月就业报告不尽人意。”
他还指出，就业市场强劲是自去年7月以来美元走强的真正动力。
纽约尾盘，美元指数跌0.4%，报95.072。
欧元兑美元从一周低点反弹，升0.5%，报1.1195美元，摆脱了有关国际货币基金组织(IMF)可能减少对希腊的金援，除非欧洲伙伴国接受进一步的债务减计的报道影响。
