CME Group数据显示，投资者和交易员用来押注央行政策的联邦基金利率期货于本周二显示，投资者认为6月加息的几率只有7%，美联储在9月会议上加息的几率为43%。
虽然美国联邦储备委员会（美联储）两位高级官员昨夜分别向投资者发出警告称，6月份仍有可能加息，但未能让债券市场信服。圣路易斯联储主席布拉德隔夜表示，欧洲央行每月600亿欧元的债券购买计划已经对美国经济复苏产生了助推作用，并可能加速美国自2006年以来首次加息。而另一位官员旧金山联储主席威廉姆斯认为，美联储今年将开始加息，今年年中讨论加息是合适的。
ED & F Man Capital Markets驻纽约的利率和信用交易业务主管Tom di Galoma称，美国通胀率不会突然走高，因此债券投资者选择在收益率如此低的情况下继续买入国债。他看涨债券市场，因为他预计美联储会等到2016年再加息。
一些分析师和投资者警告称，市场信号与美联储预期持续不符可能会引发金融市场大幅动荡。布拉德自己也承认，市场与美联储之间可能会有一个动荡的和解过程。
