默克尔在同齐普拉斯的会晤中没有深入讨论希腊债务危机的细节。此前有报道称，如果不尽快提交一揽子改革方案，希腊最早四月初就将面临流动性危机。默克尔在会见记者时表示，流动性问题的解决方案应由整个欧元集团做出。齐普拉斯则表示，他不要求默克尔为希腊工人的工资埋单，他来访目的是寻求政策上的共识以便双方继续前进。
