美国8月的非农业就业数据弱于预期，只创造了16.9万个新职位，而7月的数字也下调至10.4万个。市场已经很久没有出现过20万个以上的非农业新职位。虽然，近几个月的整体失业率有所下滑，8月的失业率已经跌至7.3%，但这也只是因为长期求职者离开劳动市场，不纳入计算在劳动人口当中。有分析员在Briefing.com写道：“若劳动参与率维持于7月的水平，失业率便会上升至接近7.6%。”
对于黄金交易员来说，将于10月4日公布的美国9月就业报告一如以往将会是瞩目的焦点，但华盛顿的债务危机讨论也不容忽视。回顾2011年的时候，政治僵局和债务上限的争论导致美国股市挫，同时也带动金价升至历史新高。这种戏码会否在今秋的美国国会中再次上演？让我们密切期待！
