股市重挫 美元下跌 避险需求支撐黃金持续反弹

黄金期货周四上涨。美国股市重挫,美元下跌,促使投资人买进黄金避险。
纽约12月黄金上涨27.50美元,或2%,收于每盎司1360.90美元,于触及1320美元低点后,反弹上扬。
在华尔街,股市,债市与美元均大幅下跌,引进了黄金的避险需求。
美国今日公布上周初次申请失业金人数大幅减少,增加了联准会(Fed)于今年稍后缩减购债的展望,为贵金属市场带来压力,但并未能阻止其强势。
白银期货亦大幅上扬,9月白银大涨1.14美元,或5.2%,收于每盎司22.93美元。
分析师说,埃及情势恶化及美国股市下跌,都对贵金属市场产生了影响。此外,近来的申报数据显示,西方投机客于今年春季卖出黄金,全都运到了中国与亚洲其他地方,使得现货市场极度吃紧。亚洲市场仍有买盘,若西方交易员亦买进黄金,则黄金市场将更为吃紧。
周三,黄金期货上涨12.90美元,或1%。
周三,埃及暴力冲突蔓延,造成至少525人死亡,逾3700人受伤。欧巴马总统谴责这项暴力行为,并呼吁埃及临时政府取消紧急状态。
周四公布的部份数据,使得黄金于早场下跌。
8月10日结束的一周,美国初次申请失业金人数减少1.5万人至32万人,创2007年10月以来低点。该数据显示Fed可能提前缩减购债,对黄金属利空。
美国7月消费者物价指数符合预期,亦支撑Fed将于9月开始缩减购债的传言。
世界黄金协会周四公布报告指出,第二季黄金整体需求下降至逾三年低点。最大压力来自ETF的黄金外流。以吨数而言,第二季需求下降12%,以美元计算,需求下降23%。但珠宝需求仍强劲,以吨数而言,上升37%。
10月白金上涨27.10美元,或1.8%,收于每盎司1532.30美元。
9月钯金上涨16.50美元,或2.2%,至每盎司756.85美元。
9月铜收盘持平,报每磅3.34美元。
