美联储本周议息 金融大鳄集体逼宫勿收水
美联储的收水恐慌，在过去一段时间引发全球金融市场震荡。美联储本周议息，成为市场焦点，在会议召开前，无限量化宽松(Quantitative Easing，QE)最大受益者的众金融大鳄，纷纷争相表态，敦促美联储收水计划勿轻举妄动，否则会招致金融市场动荡，逼宫继续放水味浓。债王格罗斯认为，目前美国失业率仍高企，根本无加息条件，至于国际货币基金(IMF)则认为在此时停止买债，后果利多于弊。
联储议息前夕，美股上周五淡静偏软，市场人士关注美储备会议结果，买卖谨慎，令到交投淡静，股市反覆偏软，反映市场恐慌情绪的VIX指数则上升4.5%。
道琼斯指数高低点数波幅161点，全日下跌105.90点，收市报15,070.18点。标准普尔500指数回落9.63点，收市报1,626.73点，纳斯达克[微博]指数倒退21.81点，收市报3,423.56点。总结全周表现，3大指数分别下跌1.2%、1%以及1.3%。
债王：现无条件加息
现时市场焦点是美联储本周会议结果，因为美联储主席伯南克在5月22日的国会发言，令到当局可能退市的忧虑升温，引发市场资金抽走及美股股市下滑多日。
美国太平洋资产管理(PIMCO)联席投资总监的格罗斯(市场称债王)，在公司网页发表文章指，他看不到联储局在未来数年会明显提高利率，原因是目前7.6%的失业率仍然高企，至于4月美国消费者价格指数(CPI)按年仅增1.1%，与伯南克在去年底定下退市门槛仍有一段距离，分别是通胀率2.5%及失业率下跌至6.5%。
至于总部位于华盛顿的IMF，则下调美国明年经济成长预估至2.7%，较4月预估值3%调降。IMF维持美国今年经济成长预估1.9%不变。IMF预期美联储庞大的每月购债金额至少持续至年底，并呼吁美联储谨慎处理宽松政策退场，避免冲击金融市场。
G8续力撑日圆贬值
另外，八大工业集团(G8)，在明日开始召开一连两日会议，其一份文件指出，日本作出刺激经济措施，冀扭转长期通缩情况，反映该集团继续力撑日圆贬值。
日圆兑美元上周连升四日，纽约尾盘报94.34日圆，跌1.07%，全日低位93.99日圆，为日本央行4月4日宣布1.4万亿美元购债计划刺激经济以来最低。按周表现为2009年7月来最差，大跌3.3%。Western Union Business Solutions高级市场分析师Joe Manimbo表示，在投资者对未来美国、日本和欧洲货币政策前景有更清楚了解前，日圆势将继续攀高。
