黄金旺季前印度不考虑削减关税

分析师们认为，尽管黄金销售旺季即将到来，但似乎印度的黄金进口限制措施将继续被执行下去。
印度贸易部长在本周接受采访时称，印度没有考虑立刻削减黄金进口关税，尽管在其影响下，印度的经常账户赤字(CAD)已经有了显著的减少。
汇丰银行称：“自从对黄金进口进行限制后，在CAD减少到占GDP的1.7%后，当地的交易商们就一直都有对进口限制放松的预期。一年前CAD曾经占GDP达到4.8%。”贸易部长的这一发言恰好是在传统上印度对黄金的需求要开始多起来的时候，10月23日印度就将迎来排灯节，这是印度购买黄金最多的节日。进口关税的增加使得印度的黄金走私变得非常猖獗。
印度是仅次于中国的全球第二大黄金消费国。印度政府上调了包括黄金在内的矿业许可费用。此次印度政府颁布的新规中，比较显著的变化是矿业许可的费用将以平均售价为基础来计算。
对金矿的许可费用涨幅最大，从之前的2%上调至4%。铁矿石的费用从10%上涨到15%，而其它一些金属矿的许可费用则上涨约20%。
