联储或比预期提早加息：美国旧金山联储周一最新发布的研究报告称，投资者可能低估了美联储未来加息的速度。“研究显示，市场对于货币政策的预期比美联储成员更加宽松”。美联储可能在不久后早于投资者预期收紧货币政策。根据报告显示，美国经济增长和预期表现一致，在投资者对于加息前景相当敏感的情况下，重量级地区联储发布的报告无疑会让投资者产生遐想，美联储可能在明年开始加息，这将提振美元多头的信心，从而打压黄金下行。
中国年内料无宽松新政：中国总理李克强周二意外提到了8月的金融数据。他提前透露，8月末广义货币同比增速只有12.8%。这比7月增速还要更低，也是5个月来的最低值。因7月数据异常低迷，分析预计8月信贷会回暖，但广义货币依然大幅低于预期。中国总理李克强有关收紧信贷供应的言论，这令许多期盼中国下半年推出更多宽松新政救市的投资者颇为失望，从而降低黄金作为通胀对冲工具的吸引力。
