中国黄金国际欲并购加拿大金矿

中国黄金国际一位高管周四表示，该公司希望在加拿大进行并购交易，虽然矿业已成明日黄花，但资产价格仍居高不下。中国黄金国际是总部位于加拿大的一家中型企业，在中国有两座矿山。
由于投资者对矿业热情降温，在中小型矿企筹资艰难之际，中国黄金国际因拥有大股东中国黄金集团公司这一融资的快速通道，令人艳羡不已。中国黄金集团公司为中国国营企业。
中国黄金集团公司是中国唯一一家国营黄金开采企业，而且是中国最大黄金生产商。它持有中国黄金国际39%的股份。
中国黄金国际执行副总裁谢泉对路透表示，“市值虽然下降，但资产价格依旧居高不下。人们不愿以低价出售，我们已尝试了几次，”
他称，公司更愿意在“加拿大找到一些机会”，但不愿支付过高价格。
黄金和基本金属公司股价2013年大跌，因金属价格走软，矿业开发成长大涨，而且对在矿业繁荣期顶点的收购进行了大量冲减。标准普尔TSX全球黄金指数2013年累计大跌48%。
谢泉称，中国黄金国际理想的收购目标是包含约300万盎司黄金，或100万吨铜的资产，并已完成可行性研究报告。
2012年中国黄金国际的黄金产量为139,443盎司，铜为2,580万磅，其在中国的两座矿山大幅扩产后，预计到2015年黄金产量将增加至26万盎司，到2016年铜产量增加至1.76亿磅。
