迪拜明年将推出第一款黄金现货合约

过去数十年来迪拜一直是中东地区的黄金交易中心，而随着交易活动逐渐从传统黄金市集(souk)转移到迪拜黄金和商品交易所(Dubai Gold & Commodity Exchange，简称DGCX)，当地市场在最近几年出现爆发性的成长！华尔街日报29日报导，为了让迪拜从区域性的交易中心转变为国际交易枢纽，DGCX计划从明(2014)年推出中东地区史上第一款黄金现货合约。
DGCX执行长Gary Anderson在接受专访时指出，该交易所仅是黄金期货的交易平台，需要现货合约才能和迪拜蓬勃的实体交易市场相辅相成。他说，DGCX希望为投资者提供现货交易市场，让人们每天都能从迪拜的金库提领、收取黄金。Anderson并指出，阿拉伯联合酋长国(UAE)的居民目前可透过场外交易市场(over-the-counter market)交易现货合约，但DGCX的黄金合约能够简化流程，合约中的黄金则储存在UAE的金库内。
全球交易的实体黄金当中，已有约1/4流经迪拜。迪拜多种商品交易中心(Dubai Multi Commodities Centre)的数据显示，当地去年的实体黄金交易金额从2003年60亿美元暴增至700亿美元。此外，在迪拜经手的黄金当中有1/4是流向印度。业界人士估算，迪拜的传统黄金市集随时都有至少10公吨的黄金可供交易。
上述消息显示，黄金交易重镇从西方(伦敦、纽约与苏黎世)转至东方(迪拜、新加坡、香港与上海)的现象已势不可挡。新加坡去(2012)年取消黄金商品及服务税之后，逐渐成为亚洲地区的黄金交易重镇，而德意志银行(Deutsche Bank AG)6月9日也透过电子邮件宣布，该证券已在当地开设能够存放200公吨黄金的金库，迎合各界富豪的需求。
德意志银行亚太地区资产与财富管理部门主管Mark Smallwood在声明稿中指出，拥有超高资产净值的客户对上述业务极有兴趣。Smallwood对华尔街日报(WSJ)表示，黄金一般来说都是存放在伦敦、苏黎世与纽约，但金融危机搅乱了全球局势，整个交易市况已明显不同。
