只要金价依然”诱人”，亚洲实物金需求将为黄金提供稳健的支撑。有些人担心今年大部分实物金买盘已经被提前透支了。
在中国许多本地投资者，他们表示只要金价仍然诱人，实物黄金需求将依然旺盛。虽然来自中国的黄金需求”火力”还没有强到能推动金价继续走高，但无疑可以为黄金提供一个稳健的支撑。
西方机构零售投资者们因对美联储(FED)缩减货币刺激政策的预期而看多美元，而尽量回避黄金市场；但是亚洲的散户投资者们却认为今年大跌的金价物有所值。他们是实物金买盘的主力。
人们热爱黄金。这种热爱可能包括许多原因，但至少有一点非常明显，在东方，黄金植入了悠久的传统和文化，这一因素不容小视。在中国,银行们正在设立、或是增加黄金储蓄计划，以提供给公众；人们通过银行日益扩张的网上服务，可以更便捷地进行黄金业务，再加上零售客户强烈的购金欲望，推动了今年中国巨大的黄金需求。
