“恐怖數據”美國9月零售好于預期，但仍然面臨供應鏈瓶頸
周五(10月15日)紐約時段盤中，北京時間20：30，美國方面公布了市場關注的恐怖數據美國9月零售銷售，結果該數據表現超出預期。其他影響力較小的9月進口物價指數和10月紐約聯儲制造業指數不及預期，一系列美國數據公布後，現貨金價短線小幅回落4美元，延續了日內的下跌勢頭。
零售數據表現較強，商品需求強勁
具體數據顯示，美國9月零售銷售月率實際公布0.7%，預期-0.2%，前值0.7%；美國9月零售銷售年率實際公布13.95%，前值15.1%。美國9月核心零售銷售月率實際公布0.80%，預期0.5%，前值1.8%。
分析指出，盡管美國零售銷售已從4月份的峰值回落，且供應鏈出現了一些問題，但整體看美國零售數據仍然較強，美國零售銷售的高水平是全球商品需求強勁背後的關鍵因素。
分析指出，零售數據向來對于判定美國的經濟現狀和前景具有重要指導作用，因為零售銷售直接反映出消費者支出的增減變化。對于供應瓶頸和通脹壓力而言，銷售數據是持穩還是開始下降是非常重要的。
美港口擁堵導致供應鏈緊張
另有分析師指出，美國零售市場仍然面臨供應鏈瓶頸問題。為了保證供應鏈順暢，不少美國零售巨頭此前紮堆兒租用集裝箱船，自己的貨物自己運。但此輪供應鏈緊張的狀況，主要由于美國港口出現擁堵，船舶作業受阻。
如果港口擁堵情況沒有得到緩解，投入更多船舶，只會造成排隊船舶的數量繼續增加，形成惡性循環。當前，美國港口船舶擁堵情況仍在不斷惡化，每天抵達港口等待卸貨的船舶數量，大大超出離港船舶數量。
從美國零售商角度看，高價租船後，仍不得不面對貨物延誤的問題。庫存和銷售計劃已徹底打亂，未來數月的美國零售市場堪憂。
據媒體報道，光沃爾瑪一家公司，目前就有大量貨物運抵美國，但卻無法卸貨。沃爾瑪的貨架已經越來越空，商店卻束手無策。同樣，由于庫存有限，美國最大的連鎖會員制倉儲店Costco已宣布，限制消費者購買衛生紙、紙巾和瓶裝水等日常用品。
美國知名的“一元店”Dollar Tree則表示，將在所有Dollar Tree Plus商店，以高于一美元的價格銷售商品，以抵消不斷上漲的成本。目前，不少專業機構已建議歐美消費者不要再等待購物季，想買的商品趕緊買，說不準哪天就斷貨了。
零售業咨詢公司Strategic Resource Group總經理Burt Flickinger認為，目前滯留在船上的20%-25%的貨物，很可能沒法趕上今年的“黑色星期五”（11月26日）。
Freightwaves創始人兼首席執行官Craig Fuller則建議：現在就去買那些很難買到的東西，而不是等到假期。他預計，玩具、服裝和電子産品將成為今年最難買到的商品，供應鏈可能要到2023年才能恢複正常。
