鮑威爾講話偏鴿，金價強勢大漲
周一（8月30日）亞洲時段，現貨黃金小幅上漲，交投于1820附近。上周五（8月27日）金價大漲1.4%，因鮑威爾在傑克森霍爾全球央行年會上講話偏鴿，且美國多項數據表現疲軟，這支撐了金價上漲，但股市上揚顯示的普遍風險情緒限制了金價的漲幅。

美聯儲主席傑羅姆·鮑威爾表示，美聯儲可能會在今年開始減少每月購債，但此後不會急于開始加息。
鮑威爾周五在預先準備好的視頻講話中表示，通脹率已經朝著美聯儲目標取得“實質性進一步進展”，即他和其他美聯儲官員所說的減碼購債前提條件。此外，鮑威爾說，勞動力市場也取得了“明顯進展”。
鮑威爾表示，“上次會議結束以來，經濟取得了更多進展，7月份就業數據強勁，但德爾塔毒株也在進一步擴散。我們會仔細評估接下來的數據和風險變化情況”。
鮑威爾說，“削減資産購買規模的時機和步伐不會直接傳遞有關首次加息時間的信號，對于升息問題，我們已經說過有一套不同的，嚴格得多的考核標準”。
鮑威爾稱：“我們已經表示，將把聯邦基金利率目標區間維持在當前水平，直到經濟達到與充分就業相一致的水平且通脹率達到2％，並有望在一段時間內小幅超過2％，要實現充分就業，我們還有許多事情需完成，通脹率是否能持續性達到2％也需要時間來驗證”。
美國7月個人支出增長放緩，價格指數上升
美國7月個人支出增長放緩，反映出商品類支出減弱的影響，而備受關注的通脹指標仍處于較高水平。
美國商務部周五公布的數據顯示，商品和服務支出增長0.3%，6月數據修正後為增長1.1%。個人消費支出(PCE)價格指數環比上漲0.4%，同比上漲4.2%，這是美聯儲用于其通脹目標的指數。
調查顯示，經濟學家對個人消費支出及價格指數的預估中值均為環比增長0.4%。
經價格變動調整的家庭需求更顯低迷，表明第三季度開局家庭支出有所放緩，而這是國內生産總值的一個關鍵組成部分。7月實際個人支出下降0.1%。
報告顯示，經通脹調整的服務業支出環比增長0.6%，商品支出下降1.6%。服務業增長反映了旅遊和娛樂等方面的支出發生轉變，不過德爾塔引發的疫情迅速蔓延，可能讓疫情中受打擊最嚴重的行業遭遇阻力。
