由於市場此前的樂觀消息已經透支了行情空間，因此眼下即使英國與歐盟之間的談判達成了最後協議，市場對此的進一步反響也將有限，在此背景下，英鎊兌美元充其量也只是會回升至1.35關口，但後市在其他負面消息的影響下，仍然很難守住這一關口。
