分析師表示，美國股市目前呈大幅震盪走勢，無法消化這種走勢的人們正繼續大舉買入黃金，我仍然認為，未來的通脹是黃金將出現潛在買盤的最大原因。通脹被認為對黃金利好，因當物價壓力上升時，買入黃金被視為一種安全的保值手段。
上周，美聯儲宣佈了高達2.3萬億美元的額外援助，包括承諾為市場風險角落提供支援；投資者擔心全球債務可能增加以及經濟前景黯淡，紛紛尋求避風港。美國主要股指週一下滑，道指一度跌逾500點，美國企業進入財報季，預計盈利將因新冠疫情而大受打擊。
從宏觀角度看，由於人們對全球巨額債務的產生最終將被貨幣化並導致嚴重通脹深感擔憂，實際貨幣積累仍在繼續，這使得投資者對黃金的需求不斷增加。
出，如果金價能夠維持住1700美元/盎司上方，那麼對黃金創下新高是很有建設性的。但距離創新高的價格，黃金市場還有一段距離。如果疫情造成的影響比表面上的更大，那麼黃金的買盤會加速。
美聯儲的刺激項目是推動金價上行的主要因素，美聯儲已經把一切都投入進去了,對黃金市場影響最大的兩大因素分別是美國實際利率和美元的購買力預期，兩者都是負相關關係，眼下對其都持看空預期。在美聯儲的寬鬆後，美國實際利率會進一步下跌，至負值，甚至測試金融危機前的低位。並且將使得美元被大幅貶值。該行表示繼續看多黃金。
