美元失去優勢，黃金持續反彈

12月16日，現貨黃金保持反彈趨勢，美元指數則維持回落的狀態，而中美貿易協議缺乏一定的細節，市場對此保持謹慎。2020年美國經濟增速放緩，美元將失去優勢，同時英鎊緩和的漲勢也抑制了市場的風險偏好。
中國商務部副部長兼國際貿易談判副代表王受文上周五表示，中國雙方在平等和相互尊重原則的基礎上，已就中美第一階段經貿協議文本達成一致。雙方達成一致，美方將履行分階段取消對華產品加征關稅的相關承諾，實現加征關稅由升到降的轉變。
美國總統特朗普發推，說在達成第一階段協議中“中國同意進行許多結構性的改革”，以及大幅購買美方的農產品，但是他說25%的美方關稅將會保留，其餘的將會是7.5%的稅率，12月15日原本要加征的關稅的確不會再實施。他也說下一階段的談判會立即開始，而不是等到2020年美國大選之後。
分析師指出，預期美元強勢將於2020年結束，因美國經濟增長放緩和刺激範圍有限將不利美元。該行模型推算，美元現時被高估20%，預計相關溢價將在未來五年逐漸消除。
英鎊兌美元上周五大幅收漲近1.30%，盤中度飆升至19個月高位1.3514，因市場預期英國首相詹森所屬的保守黨在大選中大獲全勝之後，將消除短期內的脫歐不確定性。
週一公佈的初步數據顯示，英國12月份服務業和製造業的下滑速度出人意料地加快。英國12月製造業PMI為2012年7月以來最低，服務業PMI為2016年7月以來最低。
分析師表示，製造業產出正以自2009年初全球金融危機最嚴重時期以來的最快速度下降，但過去兩個月，龐大的服務業產出也逐月下降，這是自2009年以來首次出現連續下降。
PMI數據暗示，英國四季度將出現萎縮。解決萎縮的經濟問題，很可能是詹森在組建新政府時的首要任務之一。而如何處理未來和歐盟經貿關係，投資者更是疑慮重重，恐怕不敢太過追高英鎊。
